Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CertPulse you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

CertPulse provides SSL/TLS certificate monitoring, API health checks, credential expiry tracking, and related alerting tools (“the Service”) on a subscription basis. Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to monitor endpoints you do not own or have permission to scan.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

5. Payment and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • If your payment fails we will notify you and provide a grace period before suspending your account.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing settings page. Your account will remain on the paid plan until the end of the current billing period, then downgrade to the Free plan automatically.

7. Uptime and Service Levels

We aim for high availability but do not provide a financially backed SLA on any plan. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for damages caused by service interruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

The CertPulse name, logo, and software are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertPulse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination your data will be deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes by email.
